Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (220 km/7 hrs)

  • Arrive at Haridwar railway station in the morning.
  • Drive through Dehradun and Mussoorie, visiting Kempty Falls en route.
  • Continue the journey to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive & 7 km trek one way)

  • After breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti and take a local jeep to Janki Chatti.
  • Begin a 7 km trek to Yamunotri, either by foot, horse, or Doli.
  • At Yamunotri, perform rituals and take a holy dip in Jamunabai Kund.
  • Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
