Cancellation policy
Refunds depend on how much notice you give: more than 30 days before travel gets a refund minus a 20% fee, 7 to 30 days gets 50% back, and within 7 days there is no refund. Force majeure events, such as floods or flight cancellations, are not refunded, so we recommend travel insurance.

| Scenario | Outcome | Why |
|---|---|---|
| More than 30 days before travel | Refund minus 20% fee | Covers administrative and processing costs. |
| 7 to 30 days before travel | 50% refund | The remaining 50% is retained as a cancellation fee. |
| Within 7 days of travel | No refund | At that proximity it is usually not possible to rebook the tour or recover committed costs. |
Force majeure
For events beyond our control — floods, earthquakes, roadblocks, flight cancellations, delays, or strikes — no refund is issued. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Rescheduling: advance retained as credit
If you cancel but want to postpone, your advance is retained as credit toward a new booking made and commenced within one year of the original booking date. Itinerary, inclusions, and prices may change with season and supplier rates; if the new tour costs more you pay the difference, and if it costs less no refund is issued for the balance.
No refund on competitive-pricing grounds
Once a booking is confirmed and paid, the agreed rate is final. Later finding a lower price elsewhere does not change the contracted amount.
Medical or personal emergencies
Cancellations for medical or personal emergencies may be reviewed case by case. Contact us to discuss exceptional circumstances.
How to cancel and when refunds arrive
Email info@experiencemyindia.com with your booking reference number and contact details. Approved refunds are processed within 10–15 business days of confirmation.
