Experience My India builds trips that respect the places and people we visit. We started as local guides ourselves, so we hire locally, brief travellers on cultural etiquette, follow ethical wildlife practice on safaris, and cut avoidable plastic and waste. Responsible travel is part of how we plan, not an add-on.
Support local livelihoods
Our roots are in local guiding, and our panel of 500+ local, third-generation guides, along with the drivers and family-run partners we work with, means tourism income reaches families who have lived in these places for generations.
Respect culture and place
We brief travellers on temple and village etiquette and dress, keep behaviour low-impact at sacred and heritage sites, and favour genuine experiences over staged ones.
Travel wildlife-ethically
On safaris and nature trips we follow park rules, keep a respectful distance, and avoid attractions built on animal harm.
Cut avoidable waste
We encourage refillable water and reduced single-use plastic, and work with partners who do the same.
What we haven't published yet
We commit to the above in general terms. We do not yet have a specific programme, NGO partnership, carbon-offset scheme or certification to name here — when we do, we'll publish it rather than imply one exists.
