Kerala Ayurveda Retreat — 10 days
This ten-day Kerala itinerary follows the state's classic route — Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey's backwaters and Varkala — with longer stays built in at Thekkady and Varkala so genuine multi-day Ayurveda treatments have room to work, rather than a single spa afternoon bolted onto a sightseeing trip.

A real Ayurveda pace, not a spa afternoon
Kerala's classic route runs Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Varkala. This version keeps the same order but slows down at Thekkady and Varkala specifically, because a genuine Ayurveda programme — as opposed to a single massage — is usually a course of daily treatments over several days, prescribed after a consultation rather than picked off a menu.
We do not quote Ayurveda treatment prices or promise specific medical outcomes here: your resort's in-house physician confirms the programme and its cost directly, based on a consultation on arrival.

5/51 week agoTiming was spot on — we hit the fort in the soft morning light and were back at the hotel before the afternoon heat became unbearable. Clearly a team that has done this many, many times.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are confirmed with your written quote
- No payment is taken until you approve the itinerary.
Do you quote a price for the Ayurveda treatments?
No. The resort's in-house physician assesses you on arrival and prescribes (and prices) the programme directly — this is standard practice for genuine Ayurveda and not something we mark up or estimate in advance.
How is this different from a spa day added to a normal Kerala trip?
The itinerary itself is built around it: consecutive days at one resort at Thekkady and again at Varkala, rather than one city per night, so a multi-day treatment course actually has room to run.
Is Ayurveda a medical treatment or a wellness experience?
That depends on the programme and your own health situation — we are a travel operator, not a medical provider, and the resort physician is the one to discuss medical claims or conditions with, not us.
Can this itinerary be done as a shorter wellness break?
Yes, by dropping Munnar or the houseboat night and focusing purely on Thekkady or Varkala; ask and we will re-quote a shorter version.
