How likely am I to see a tiger?

Genuinely rare. The Sundarbans tiger is elusive even by tiger standards, partly adapted to swimming between islands, and dense mangrove cover limits visibility. Most visitors come away without a sighting and still consider the trip worthwhile for the landscape and birdlife.

How many days should I plan?

Two to three days is typical, given the boat-based travel time within the delta and the tide-dependent routing.
